Composite Weatherman fuz's first production fuz out of mould.

Late this afternoon the first production Weatherman fuz from the Aeroicplanes mould was de moulded.

We are very pleased with the fuz, it has been layed up with same type of high strength glass fabric as Jim Hammond used for the prototype and has the same over all weight of fabric, we have also used HM carbon for the reinforcements.

The white colouring of the fuselage is done in mould using a German gelcoat system that is used on full size gliders, all the above materials are top grade products.

Prices and production plan will be published next week. Thanks for waiting on this one.

  • Hello Ben
Give me an idea of what you would like to see in a complete kit? We have the equipment and resources to make and supply every single part if required but I think you are more looking for the wood parts etc.
    Let me know.

  • Nice job!
I’ll wait for the other parts to be announced before I make my order.
Just missing the time to make things myself, so better purchase the complete kit.
I’m looking forward to the kit!

This version is scaled by 1.414 and is thus aimed at Class VI and VII (40’s and 60’s), yes we think about other parts such as the wing and tail plus engine mount and bellcrank etc.
Price for the fuz will be notified on the website next week.

  • Suitable for Mills 1,3 cc?
Have you any thoughts to make the wing & tail, too?
    Price list?
